Honey, I couldn't post anything yesterday, the anniversary of your birth into eternal life! It is still hard to do, but I need to talk to you. So much has happened, and is happening in the lives of our children, and grandchildren, and so many friends. And its lonely without your lovely physical presence...your incredibly inspiring voice at home,driving in the car, in church, in the chorale, with your quartet; your laugh, your jokes, your whistling, your kiss, your arms. Someone I love can't kiss me goodnight, or hold my hand, or tell me when he is proud of me for some silly something, or look into my eyes, or fuss at me for not turning where he wanted to turn, or fill my stocking at Christmas, or send me precious cards, or sit on the porch with me, or wrap presents with me, or sing in the choir, or worship with me, or light the Advent candles with me, or the million and one things he did to help take care of our home.
